Preservation and Extraction Kit One Step for Virus Collection before COVID-19 PCR testing
Product Advantages
High Compatibility
Compatible with all type of PCR, RT-PCR, and One-Step RT-PCR amplification systems for virus detection.
Non-guanidine Salt
This sample reagent kit contains no guanidine salt, and no inhibition for PCR or orisothermal amplification.
Speedy Virus Inactivation
No need sample heating. Greatly inactivate virus, bacterial and other microbial without microbiological risk on operator when sample transport and detection.
Direct Nucleic Acid Amplification
The sample can be directly used as an amplification template after vortexing for 5 seconds, and it’s suitable for all RTPCR detection systems.
Room Temperature Preservation
The nucleic acid of virus can be preserved for 7 days in room temperature without degradation after sample collection. No need cold chain transportation to save cost.
Simple Operations
Break oral or nasal swab tip after sample collection into this reagent tube, the high-concentration nucleic acid from virus can be released after vortexing for 5 seconds. Directly add the sample into the specimen wells for PCR amplification.
The unique non-guanidinium patented formula from Dewei could minimize the risk of "false negative" results.
Guanidinium (include guanidine isothiocyanate or guanidine hydrochloride, etc), as a common protein denaturant, is normally used for lysing cell in nucleic acid extraction or inactivating virus. But the medium with guanidinium can not preserve nucleic acid under normal room temperature which easily makes specimen degraded. Therefore, medium with guanidinium is unsuitable for Sars-CoV-2 preservation. It’s strongly suggested to use the non-guanidinium virus preservation solution.
