【H. pylori INTRODUCTION】
Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) is a gram-negative rod bacterial pathogen that resides in the mucous layer of the antral and fundal gastric epithelium and occasionally in ectopic gastric tissue in the duodenum or esophagus. Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) is a type of bacteria that infects the digestive system. Many people with H. pylori will never have symptoms of infection. But for others, the bacteria can cause a variety of digestive disorders. These include gastritis (inflammation of the stomach), peptic ulcers (sores in the stomach, small intestine, or esophagus), and certain types of stomach cancer.
【H. pylori Ab RAPID TEST INTENDED USE】
H. pylori tests are lateral flow immunoassays for the rapid, qualitative detection of IgG antibodies specific to Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) in human whole blood or serum. These tests are to be used to aid in the diagnosis of H. pylori infection.
H. pylori tests are most often used to:
Individually sealed foil pouches containing a test cassette with desiccant
【RAPID TEST SPECIMEN】
【RAPID TEST ADVANTAGES】
Results ready in 10 minutes
Easy to use, Can be used with whole blood, serum, or plasma samples
Cost-effective test kit for the detection of Hepatitis B core antibodies
【H. pylori Ab TEST RESULT INTERPRETATION】
If only the C line develops, the result is negative or non-reactive.
If both the C and the T lines develop, the result is positive or reactive.
If no C line develops, the assay is invalid regardless of any color development on the T line as indicated below. Repeat the assay with a new device.
【STORAGE AND STABILITY】
The kit should be stored at 2-30°C until the expiry date is printed on the sealed pouch.
The test must remain in the sealed pouch until use.
Keep away from direct sunlight, moisture and heat. Do not freeze.
Care should be taken to protect the components of the kit from contamination. Do not use it if there is evidence of microbial contamination or precipitation. Biological contamination of dispensing equipment, containers, or reagents can lead to false results.
